About the Authors
Dr. Jamie Koufman,
Director of the
Voice Institute of New York, is known
nationally and internationally for her pioneering research
in the field of reflux. For more than 25 years,
her work has
focused upon reflux as it affects the throat. She is
credited with coining the terms “silent reflux” and
“laryngopharyngeal reflux.” Dr. Koufman is Professor of
Clinical Otolaryngology at the New York Medical College, and
she has been listed among the Top Doctors in America
every year since 1994.
Dr. Jordan Stern
has been practicing Otolaryngology -- Head and Neck Surgery
for 17 years, and has been recognized as one of America’s
Top Doctors by the NY Times Magazine in 2008. Dr. Stern has
contributed to the field of head and neck surgical oncology
and laryngology with over 100 publications and academic
presentations. He is also a specialist in the diagnosis and
management of sleep disorders.
Marc Bauer
is a Master Chef and has 22 years
of experience in the field. He is the former executive chef
at Délices de France in New York, NY; and since 1992, he has
been teaching at the French Culinary Institute.
